Sector Bracing

Can someone explain to me the need or use for this? I am just not savvy in this area. Thanks in advance.

The idea is to brace the sector shaft. Running a flipped DL and especially hydro steering removes some of the forces on the sector shaft. One thing to note, running CA's up front moves the axle forward a bit. Also certain coils are wider. Both can cause interference issues with the sector shaft part. Many including myself only run the upper brace.
