Hey everybody, I’ve had my ‘94 since ‘04. Babied her for a long time, well the ex did. Was her daily driver til around 2010 and I started using it like you’re s’posed to.
She’s a little tired now, springs a bit droopy. Paint a bit bubbly. Replaced the soft top last year cause it was mostly duct tape anyways.
I’m a plumber, and with all that’s going on there’s not much work. But I do have this long time customer whose barn froze up pretty good this winter so I had to fix a bunch of crap, while I was in there I had this vision.
My tired old YJ in this barn. All ripped apart. Me with a bunch of boxes of parts from Amazon or whoever. Tools and spray paint all over the place.
So I talked to my customer, said let’s barter, loan me your barn for a couple months and no charge for the work and he went for it.
So my vision has come true. Hopefully I can get some ideas or advice from some knowledgeable individuals on this forum which I have never even looked at before.
Thanks in advance. Now I’ve got some more sanding to do.
