It does appear to be slowing down. Hopefully it will improve with time like a good wine or woman depending on your preference.

I prefer both! Lol. Desert...pm me if you have any ideas on getting things going. I am going to put links on our local jeep club forums and see if it helps.

I would like to see a big linked slapped on the metalcloak homepage so we could pull from that. Like a MC tech forum for trouble shooting and such

Forums often do take a while to take off. From my experience forums need needs a lot of participation from the people running it or things get stale quick. At least until the member count gets up there.

On top of what you said there are many Jeep forums already, unless this forum can offer something that others aren't it may never fully 'take off'.

Fb is a good move. Should do a like/share contest to spread the word

I don't do social media(wife does though) but I know it is a powerful form of advertisement. This is an outstanding idea. And if I remember right Matson did one of the most confusing Facebook like contest ever[emoji854]. Maybe he can help facilitate this. LETS DO IT!!

I just found it today via facebook. I think I may have seen it a couple of times before, but kinda scrolled past without really looking. Hopefully it'll take off.

Things have got much better in the past month. This is still in the early stages. With that said the ask an expert has been great. How about sharing that story of your pic. Looks like you have 2.25 wheels on the ground!

Haha! Yeah it was a scary moment. That was on last years trip to Moab UT on Moab Rim, that the Colorado River about 150 feet down in front of me.

So we made it up that spot with no issue and a little further up the trail another guy in the group in an old Willy's broke a u-joint so we decided to turn around and head back down. So,,,,, he made it back down that spot fine, it's a rather large drop off with a big boulder at the bottom. I was thinking if I came down a little right of where I had come up I'd be golden. Well, I was right on the line I wanted but failed to notice a good sized gap that my passenger front dropped in to, so by time I pulled out of that and straightened up for the drop I was about 6-8 feet too far right but couldn't tell that at the edge cause I couldn't see past the hood. So there's a guy spotting us down the drop who really shouldn't have been, super nice guy but not very experienced. Anyhow, he's waiving me straight on and I drop off the edge completely missing the boulder I was expecting to step down onto. The driver front dropped about a gazillion feet (maybe a touch less), I thought for sure I was gonna endo, I punched the gas and it pulled out. I thought I was going to have to have my seat surgically removed from my rectum! We got to the bottom at the staging area and my legs were still shaking, it's a big drop if you go over the edge...

Here's the video from the dash cam of the guy behind me in a TJ (some NSFW language).....

I'm relatively certain that at one point only the driver front is touching. The two people on the left where hiking up, the ladies reaction is priceless.

The video was much more scary than I expected after reading your post. Thank God everything went fine. I am new to this forum by the way. The place looks good, I'm staying :)

I agree with CARiD. Video is something out of a horror movie. On another note glad you are here CARiD. [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]
