This is the first that I've seen such a device. I would think it would work just as well on manual vehicles as it does automatic. Looks like it is just adjusting the sensitivity.

I found this on Instagram. Is anyone running an iDrive? Is it worth if. I assume it would only be good on an automatic.

I've heard good things from a lot of different jeepers on IG...even people already running supercharged and LS/HEMI swapped rigs. But that feedback seemed more like an 'endorsement' than an actual review. :cautious:

So, if anyone on here has first hand experience, I'd also love to know what you think.

I have the Pedal Commander. It appears to do much of the same thing...so my comments are strictly for that. I will say that I might like the "auto change" feature of the iDrive (Pedal Commander doesn't have), which will auto change the sensitivity for you. But both can manually change the sensitivity of the throttle up or down from barely there to extreme. I have a manual trans, and some people say that it's not quite as noticeable of a difference as with the auto.

As far as my experience goes, I like my Pedal Commander just okay. I do enjoy an increased throttle response, but part of me feels that a re-gear might be a more effective use of funds. I found that I like it more for around town daily driving, but that I need to turn it off when on a longer drive or road trip or fuel mileage will suck more than normal. That could just be the way that I drive. I always turn it off when in 4wd as I'd rather not have a hair trigger throttle when on the rocks.
