. What led you to your choice of lift? I am contemplating a 4” long arm but like to her why people choose the lift they chose.

I’d ultimately like to register it with search and rescue and be able to to trail maintenance and repair so my thoughts are it has to be as capable as possible. Ive owned a jku for the last 4 years and have been researching at least as long and narrowed it down to rock krawler or synergy. Between construction and reviews of performance and maintenance those I found to be the top 2 imo. I went with synergy for a few reasons, synergy long arm is a 4 link lift and rock krawlers comprable lift is a 3 link that I could find digging around online. I’m not sure if RK make a long arm in 4 link but I couldn’t find it.
And ultimately it came down to synergy being 3 miles from my house. If it were RK I could’ve gone in face to face and maybe gone with them. But only if they fab a long arm 4 link.
And synergy being so close maintenance done by the manufacturer goes a long way with me especially when I need replacement parts.
I’ll be putting this on myself so the bolt on application is nice but I will consult them on where they would run beads on the frame brackets, I use to be a welder by trade and still have my tools. These are my opinions but i did do a lot of research and these 2 companies were always at the top. They are different lifts both construction and material but I’ve had the lift in my shed over a month still boxed and I’m still 100% on my decision. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll post the build also as I go. I should be closer to my goal of “jeepsmith” when I’m done because I usually break things a few times then in repairing them so much I become an expert!
