I recently reinstalled my hard top for the winter. When my soft top is on i remove the rear two(2) hard top nut sliders to free up an attachment point for my bikini top. This time around i did not reinstall the nut sliders to see if there would be any issues; so far i have not had any. my question is are there any issues with leaving those out for a winter season (Wisconsin), I.E. leaks, stress factors, tailgate sealing issues, or will i be just fine? again i have not had issues so far.

thank you

No there is no real issue at all. As long as the top is safely attached to the body and you have no leaks, you should be good to go. I had done that in the past when I had a hard top. I would say to keep an eye on it to make sure any vibrations are not causing the attachment points to get "wallered" out. This could lead to corrosion if salts were to get on the raw metal.
