I wash my Jeep on a Sunday and Monday night it looks like this. New England šŸ˜

YIKES! I hate salt as much as I do mud. Luckily down here in the south we don't see much salt. There are just way too many nooks and crannies in a jeep to hold the salts and create corrosion. Id me washing everyday if I lived up there.

I hate it, Iā€™ve been washing it once a week. Prior to winter I soaked everything underneath with fluid film inside and out. Itā€™s been holding up well so far. I hate mud but Iā€™d pick that over what we have. I am extremely particular so having a black Jeep, in Maine, in the winter is a rough time. Takes me about 2.5 hours to do a full exterior clean each week šŸ™„

Today I got an alignment because this weekend I replaced my ball joints and the upper front axle bushings.

All I can say is if you are doing upper axle bushings, have an air hammer... I was able to knock the driver upper bushing out with just the air hammer saving a lot of time and curse words. I do recommend using the power drill method to separate the bushing from the sleeve on passenger side, then air hammering the sleeve out.

Your a brave and patient soul. My recommendation is just spend the hundred and have the shop put it in lol.

Just finished 488 gears, EVO truss on the D30 along with C gussets and swing arm skids, Eaton E locker in the rear. And Adams drivelines. Kinda forgot there were 6 gears after running 323 gears with 37's.

It's been sitting so long I had to go out and start it. Sheesh, that's a sad report for what I did today with my Jeep.

Installed 38x13.50R17 Milestar Patagonia MTā€™s on my Black Rhino Crawler Beadlocks onto my LJ. Also added a Poison Spyder Customs hood louver, both were gifts from my wife and kids for my birthday and Fatherā€™s Day. So far love them both!

I used my new AEV procal to turn off the day time running lights. My 2010 JK 2 door came from Canada and it's mandatory up there but it has always bugged me. Very simple process 2 minutes DONE.

On Sunday I disconnected the front drive shaft from the differential to get ready to tow it this weekend to the mountains.
I will also have to disconnect the rear DS once it is connected to the motorhome.
Most are going to ask why I have to disconnect the D/S's to tow it. I have an Atlas installed, and not recommended to flat tow a Jeep with the Atlas.
The oil pump is on the input shaft, so it would not be turning when flat towing it.
We are only going to use the Jeep to run around town once to our destination.

In a couple of weeks, we are going on a trip for some wheeling, and we will put the Jeep in the trailer for that trip.
We will post pictures once all hooked up and ready for the road.

Ground down all the welds and removed the spindles for machining and tone rings. Also sweat out a five gallon pair of fluid. I hate the heat!

We towed the Jeep with our new RV up to the mountains.
We went to Ruidoso New Mexico, then Santa Fe, Amarillo Texas on our 1030 mile journey for a week.

Had a great time getting away.
Motor home ran great towing the Jeep.

It is a pain to disconnect both driveshafts for towing though.
I have to do that because of the Atlas in the Jeep.
