Ask The Expert- Slow filling gas tank

So my jeep sat on stands for about 6 months for some upgrades. Before that happened I could put the pump nozzle in, pull the trigger and the gas would go into the tank as fast as it would pump. Fast forward to present day apocalypse, I can barely get gas into the tank with out the nozzle kicking off. This is extremely frustrating as it takes about 10 mins or so to fill up the Jeep. When the jeep was out of commission, I never messed with the fueling system. Only suspension and drive train upgrades. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Help a dumb redneck out!

Is the anti-siphon ball stuck maybe?
I am not sure how the tanks are setup to let the air out of the tank when you are filling the tank.
Could be that line is plugged somehow.

Last thing, is the fill tube is crushed or collapsed somehow.
I am sure you looked at all of these options though.

This is what I did to fix mine, I had to grind the tabs all the way off to keep mine from sticking. The check valve slider neck is just held on by tabs and you give it a firm twist and it comes off.

I thought it might be the tube. But there is no blockages. I am going to go out and see if it’s the anti siphon ball thing.
