Ride quality and lift kits

I have 2016 JKU Rubicon with 35” KM3’s. The Jeep is a daily driver as well as a weekend warrior. It has no lift, just high clearance fenders. Needless to say, I would like to maintain my good ride. What lift kit or components is going help me keep that ride or maybe even improve it?

There's tons of great lifts out there that you can put on your rig that will suit your needs like MetalCloak, Synergy, Icon, etc. It just depends on how much you want to spend. For my rig, it's also a dd and a weekend warrior and I drive my rig to the trails, wheel and then drive home and at the time I bought a lift, I went with the Synergy Stage 2 lift with 3" lift; not too hard core but enough to handle 35's and some moderate wheeling (there's enough adjust-ability in all of the components to keep the ride smooth). Also, take a look at the Metalcloak mid arm system. I've have a couple of friends running that lift and have been very happy with it.

like @Dorkchop said there are many great lifts out there. I ran stock suspension with big tires for years and thought the Jeep rode well. I did a 3.5” MetalCloak lift and my mind was blown on how much better it rode.

I think the biggest advice I can give you, no matter the brand, is to get a full lift kit. Not a budget kit or a partial. There is so much more that goes into it than just some bigger springs and shocks. The high end lifts come as a full system and that is what you should look for. Being that your only 35’s I would not go higher than a 2.5” lift. More than enough, even for 37’s and you won’t have to change out drive shafts immediately. Check out the MetalCloak 2.5” Game Changer. I am running the Rocksport Shocks and very pleased with them. TeraFlex also makes a great lift as does Synergy & Rock Krawler. But I think you will be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck or better customer service.

Thanks for your replies. Good to hear from other daily drivers. I've never considered "budget" lifts because of past experience with them on other vehicles, you get what you pay for.
