I have had a tough time finding a good holder for my iPhones and iPad. Most of them are garbage. What setups are you using and how do they work? Pics and links are welcome!

I’d be interested what works because I’m in the same boat, every holder I’ve ever purchased has been junk after a few weeks.

For my iPad I use a Ram mount. I will have to see if I have a good picture of the setup.
It is on a clamp that goes on the roll cage windshield lower cross bar that comes out 3 inches.
This is a 9.5" ipad for my old eyes when using my Gaia map app.

For my iPhone, I would think they would have a mount that would also work the same way.

How does the Gaia App work once you lose cell service? Is it all downloaded ahead of the trip and works solely off of GPS signal?

I download the area prior to heading out.
The only time I have had it lose maps is if I have lost cell service, and no maps downloaded.

On the tablet, I can save the route and the web app will pick up the route and save it.
I can then make it public if I want to share it along with waypoints saved.
