Oil filter housing leak

So i decided to look under the jeep yesterday and notice small oil drop lets under the transmission crossmember and decided to look up top around the filter housing area and could see some oil sitting in the valley between the heads. So took a trip to dealer picked up the parts since they said it would be month before they could work on it.
So i took it all part and yep it was leaking as u can see in the pic below. I just need a fuel line clip which i pick up on monday and i can finsh putting the upper intake back on.

The filter housing i got it for 160 dollars ( from dealer)
Then u also need the intake gaskets upper and lower 6 of each (from dealer)
Then u will need the fuel line clips cause they will break in half when u try remove them.

Depending on how many miles is on your jeep if u do this job and jeep has 80,000 miles or more u might as well replace the spark plugs since u have the upper intake off already.

Great write up. What year is your JK? Reading things like this give me confidence to do more and more on my own. Stealerships will rob you blind on repairs.

My Jeep is 2016 Willys 2 door. It was under warranty on problem was they couldnt get to for like month and half. I need my jeep plus i like working on my own stuff. Its not hard job to replace the housing just little time consuming. If u can put a lift on your jeep then u can tackle this job just take ur time and clean your engine off before doing this job because u dont want dirt or sand falling in the engine intake holes when take the intake manifolds off.
