New Brake Lines & Bleeding

The Game Changer lift had me put new brake lines on the front and rear. I completed that on Sunday night and i was able to spend a bit of time flushing the system today.

While flushing the lines to ensure all the air was out, I wondered how many people do not install a lift on their own simply because they have to mess with brake lines. I know they can be intimidating, but if I could suggest looking at Motive Products Power Bleeder, it might make the job better. Brakes are very simple, even with ABS. Motive makes products for the guy doing brakes them self. Its not expensive and it super easy.

I flushed three quarts of brake fluid through our JK today in less than 30 minutes. It was very easy and all the air is out! :D

Makes you wish they had them eons ago. I was lucky when I put my 2.5 lift on I didn't need the lines. Since they came with the lift I have them stashed as backup.

Even just to flush your brake system this is nice. My wife has a 2011 WK2 Overland and it had some gross fluid in the brakes after 5 years. Glad we flushed. Took 30 minutes start to finish.
