Jeep fuel cell

Going to start fabricating a fuel cell to sit under the driver side (opposite the factory). Work in a shop with a full welding bay. Any tips would be appreciated. Have already taken in to consideration baffle walls and breather lines and transfer pumps, relocations and such. Still debating on what to make the main tank out of. Will have a re-inforced bottom and a skid plate to boot. 2008 Jku Sport.

Why on the drivers side? Most logical place to put it is behind the rear axle.

My city is infamous for rear end collisions for starters, so it disuades me there. Plus most write-ups ive read detail aftermarket disconnects and suck, and tend to only gain 40litres , which is dandy, but i am aiming to nearly double my capacity with close to a 65litre capacity. That being said, i have not read anything on the tj tank use.

I don't know the specifics but I recall someone talking about a Gen Right tank that held something like 40 gallons or 151 litres. I believe it required a dump or side exit exhaust though as was a pretty expensive kit but I know a few guys that run their tanks in TJ's that love them.
