What do you eat when you Jeep?
1-What are your “Road trip” snacks as you drive to your destination?
2- If you are doing a trail run, what do you bring for lunch?
3- At the end of the day, what meal do you eat “at camp?”

1- Road trip Snacks: Red Vines family pack. Black licorice and red ropes especially. Peanut butter M&Ms. Chicken & a Biscuit Crackers.
2- Trail Lunch: Street tacos cooked on our Jetboil stove on the tailgate table or Cold Hot Dogs or Turkey Wraps, fruit, veggies.
3- Dinner: Hot dogs roasted over the fire or Hamburgers at a local dive or Steaks on the grill.

My road trip snack is pecans or Cheetos puffs.

Lunch is alway a thick cut bologna sammich

My favorite campfire meal is deer meet stuffed with Jalapano and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon. Eat it like an apple once cooked to a medium finish. Oh...and a pour of bourbon

1-What are your “Road trip” snacks as you drive to your destination? - Mountain Dew and a Zero bar. Me and a buddy have been using that road trip snack setup since we were 16.
2- If you are doing a trail run, what do you bring for lunch? - Sandwich makings, chips, beef jerky and WATER.
3- At the end of the day, what meal do you eat “at camp?” - I’m a fan of brining something to grill with a nice cold Shiner.

Do you have one of those ovens installed inside your hood?!? I’ve seen those advertised, but never heard of anyone actually using one... would love to hear more about it

Roadt trip snacks - Cheetos puffs or Original Chex Mix and a Mountain Dew
Lunch - Sammiches - Bologna (thick) and Cheese or Ham (shaved) and cheese
Supper - A Local dive if it's a day trip. If its a getaway excursion I've been known to cook anything from grilled cheese to bacon wrapped filet mignons over a fire.

I personally know of 2 guys, 1 in a model T club, the other in a Model A club, that have nothing more than what are stainless steel boxes that set down and fasten to the exhaust manifolds of the engine that were commercially produced "manifold ovens" I've watched one of them cook on 2 occasions. Eggs, and a frozen lasagna.

1 - beef jerky and Pringles. I can’t do a Jeep trip without ample jerky to survive on
2 - I like to grab deli meat, cheese, and fresh bread for sammiches. Some fruit or veggies for snack. If I’m good, a cookie
3 - lamb lollipops with roasted potatoes and carrots with some blueberries & strawberries for dessert. Charcuterie with salami, brie/gouda and baguette/triscuits with a glass of Malbec while preparing is nice. Also a good lunch backup option too, minus the wine

1 - Jerky (Beef or Deer), licorice, skittles, trail mix, water, energy drinks.
2 - Sammiches, trail pizza warmed on the engine, or brauts if a friend brings their mini grill.
3 - beer, brauts or hamburgers done over the fire, usually some tater salad or macaroni salad.
