Hello from Southern California!

Hey everyone! The off-road scene is new to me this year. I bought a 2017 JKU Willys Wheeler at the beginning of the year because getting out into nature was a great way to maintain my sanity while the rest of the country was shut down.

I started my adventures with a couple of local trails to get my bearings on the easy stuff. The Willys is fairly well equipped from the factory, but trails in a Jeep are a lot different than going fast in the corvettes and mustangs I had come from. I then went out to Arizona to do Table Mesa and Shnebly Hill from the Jeep Badge of Honor program and I was hooked.

Now I am looking to build it up with a proper suspension to tackle some of the tougher trails in California! Here is the Jeep as it stands now:

Welcome. It’s a good idea you have about a proper suspension. I am amazed when I do a tough trail and then after drive back to camp or a few hours home. My metalcloak lift does that.
