Difficulty Swapping JK Axles

Hi, I think I'm somewhat mechanically inclined, and I've done a good amount of installs / mods to my Jeep (lift, engine repairs, bumper / winch install, etc.) I ordered a set of axles from Carbon Offroad, how hard are new axle housings to install? I've got four 6-ton jack stands to support the Jeep and have the axles off the ground. I have one floor jack, figuring I'll be able to use the floor jack to lower the axle assemblies to the ground and then place them on 2 wood dollies that I can wheel away from the Jeep. Any other tips or tricks to follow when removing the stock axle housings and installing the new ones?

Yah you will probably need to readjust ur caster because the new axles will be made with the caster corrected /meaning the brackets have been welded in the correct spot for lifted jeep. U need a angle finderwith magnet on the side like welders use u can pick them up at harbor frieght or lowes or home depot the caster needs to set around 5 degrees. U will either shorten or extend the upper or lower arms to get that to change. Other than that sounds like u got a good plan for swapping them out .

Good point about setting the caster, I remember playing with that when I installed my lift a few years back. I've got the angle finder so I should be good to go. I was also thinking of using the dollies with some plywood and my shorter 3 ton jacks for a makeshift axle dolly.

Should be no different than a lift install.

I always bolt the lowers then raise the pumpkin with a floor jack and monkey hump the axle around to get the uppers to bolt in, after that it’s gravy.
