Old School TJ

Not sure I posted this before. Here is my TJ that was built in 2006. It's a 2006 Rubicon with a 6 speed. Lots of stuff from companies that are probably not around. Currie lift and steering, warn front bumper and winch. Rock hard sport cage... lots of skids.....

I wish I could do that. Mine's a DD, and is suffering for it. Looks like I'll have to have the torque boxes replaced, soon. Not relishing that, at all.

I have done nothing to it for rust. It has never been drove on any days other than sunny days. Never seen rain. ND only has 7,000 miles on it.
You do realize that you own and are talking about a Jeep,, right ? ;) :D:haha

It is nice though.

Brian, how do you like the Anti-Rock? How much more lean did you experience when cornering vs regular sway bars.

I have the Anti-Rock on mine also.
I love it, and do not run a rear swaybar.
It has pretty good lean in slow corners in town.
It is not bad on the highway on fast corners, but still more lean than stock.

On the trail, it is a monster rock climber though.
Point and shoot on the rocks of the Sierra's.

I have considered not running one in the rear. Just concerns me with my wife cruising around town. The soft stock suspension leans as it is and scares her lol.

I figure once the sway motor goes out on mine, I will slap on an anti rock.

I think my old TJ drives better and faster than the JK.

I would not doubt that at all. Does your TJ have a 6 cylinder in it or a 4?

Six speed six with 4.10. our JK has the auto with 4.10.... The TJ has torque and even with the anti-rock handles better than the JK.... Thanks has 33's and JK has 35's. I do not have a rear sway bar on the TJ either. We did leave it on the JK.
