    RK extractor hood. Any thoughts? I知 not fond of the dv8 hoods

    I知 a big fan of the DV8 style hood as it works well with the supercharges. The 10th anniversary hoods are great too, but you need to cut the exhaust vents for functionality.

    I've never seen that RK hood in person, and maybe it's just the pic, but that RK hood just looks like it doesn't line up quite right. I do like the look of the RK Sport hoods but you probably want more functional venting area. If I were doing an LS swap I would probably lean toward the AEV hood for the best looks and function combo.

    The AEV does a great job with heat dissipation. Not to mention it does look good. But in all honesty a basic good will do the trick. And you can always add a poison spider hood vent or who ever else makes one. They look great and are functional.
