Jeep Newb
Good morning Modern Jeepers.
I am in the process of getting my GC 3.5 system installed. I purchased the full kit, minus shocks, since I had a new set of Rancho RS9000s. I am trying to get an idea of how much bump stop I should end up with (1-4inches), subject to actually cycling the suspension. My Jeep is an 05 LJ Rubicon, running 285/75r16s. The shocks I have stats:
Front
Compressed - 16.110
Extended - 25.970
Travel - 9.860
Rear
15.313
24.188
8.875
Just looking for ballpark ideas so I can verify where its at when I pick it up from my installer. Also, since my travel isn't nearly as good as the Rockport or ARB shocks, any thoughts on if I should look at limited straps, or do bumpstops generally cover this?
Thanks!
