Can you elaborate more on the second skin? Is it a Line-X or sheet metal?

Hi, I sure could,

It's a two part system, the first part is like a dino matt, it is a rubbery tar type of material with an aluminum heat shield. This is layed all over the inside metal and inside your doors panle metal. It stops the metal for resonating. It also blocks heat around the transmission and transfer case.
The second part is a rubber type of material with a semi hard rubber on top. This blocks noise from coming into the vehicle.
I can drive on the fwy and talk on my cell phone while it's on speaker phone. I can talk on my CB and hear the other person no problem. Before I installed this it was impossible to talk on the cell phone without a headset and the CB was iffy most of the time.
One thing to note, if you break something and it is rattling while off road you won't hear it any more. Had this happen already. So if your pushing your jeep off road, every time you stop for awhile do a quick inspection. I have all of my bolts with a red or white mark across them so in the event they come lose it will be easy to spot.
