The other day I hopped in the Four Wheeler EcoDiesel-powered long-term Jeep Wrangler and pushed the start button. The starter whirred, the engine started, I drove away. When I was in College in Michigan had an MGA. They came with a crank and a puka in the front bumper to run the crank into the receptacle fitting for crank on the pulley nut on the crank shaft. Got real fond of that crank as the Bendix on the starter was exposed to water sprayed up off the pavement and would freeze at night in the winter incapacitating the starter. Cranked that little four cylinder regularly during the winter.
