Yea, I dig that part too and I would definitely install it but I’m most curious about the whole thing about it presenting some sort of problem at the time of getting the Jeep to pass smog in CA. That’s kinda my main question here.

According to a bleepinjeep video I saw, it lowered the air temp at the intake manifold from 60c down to 20c. If that’s the case then, I don’t think you can expect much more from a cold air intake than that.

Just wondering if anybody here has installed one of these Trail Head Off Road cowl cold air intakes? I saw somewhere that there’s an issue with having them in California? Wondering why that is?

I’m looking to do the same upgrade. I have an 05 LJ with a 4.5” Long arm on 35’s. I looked at the Currie kit for a while but I think I’ll ultimately go with the Ruff Stuff kit since you also drill the knuckles out to the 1 ton taper.

Just got my wheels and tires and went to pick up my lift from Metalcloak today. I got 35” 12.5 on 15” street lock steel. The lift is a 4.5 Long arm with the Lock n’ Load arm. Really stoked. Still gonna need a drive shaft and some way to carry my spare. Still trying to figure that one out. I’ll...
